Saline County ARES primarily operates on one of the repeaters located in Bauxite, Arkansas that is maintained by Saline County ARES. Rx frequency is 146.805 with a negative offset and 131.8 PL tone. Starting in 2019, on the 2nd, 4th (& 5th) Mondays, our on-air net will be Monday evening at 7:00 PM, the first Monday of the month we will meet face-to-face at the Saline County Regional Airport Conference Room at 6:00 PM! Saline County ARES assists "served" agencies, such as the Office of Emergency Management, the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, or other agencies in support of unfortunate events and public service events.

Unfortunate events that prompt activation of this group include severe weather, natural disasters, and more serious unnatural disasters that may or may not require additional training and or certifications.


To become part of the Saline County ARES® group, you must be a licensed amateur radio operator, have a minimum amount of radio equipment, knowledge of proper net protocols and be willing to provide a service to your community.
